Welcome to You+, your one-stop shop for health and wellbeing
What is You+?
Helping people to achieve the best possible health for themselves and their families is important to Solihull NHS Care Trust; in fact, it’s at the heart of everything we do.
That's why we have opened You+ - your one stop shop for health and advice. You+ is a brand new lifestyle shop in the centre of Chelmsley Wood where you can get support to eat healthily, be the right weight, take exercise, stop smoking, manage stress and get advice on all the other health matters that have a big impact on your life.

How we can help

There’s always something going on – why not download a what's on guide and join in! You will find these services at You+:
Help and advice for stopping smoking: smokers are four times more successful at kicking the habit when they get help from the Solihull NHS Stop Smoking Service. Trained stop smoking advisors are on hand to provide one-to-one and group support and can also give you up to eight weeks of Nicotine Replacement Therapy for a one-off prescription charge (or free if you are exempt from paying for prescriptions).
Stop Smoking clinics are on Wednesday 2pm - 5pm and Saturday 10am -12pm.
Breastfeeding support: a mother's milk gives a baby the very best start in life and offers maximum protection against infections, such as flu. The breastfeeding café at You+ gives mums a place to relax and meet others. Each Friday, 10am - 12pm.
Weight management: the You+ dietitian can support you to make changes to your everyday life that will help you lose weight and, more importantly, keep it off. Monday, 3pm - 5pm, Friday, 10am - 12pm and Saturday for children only, 10am - 12pm.
Sexual health: You+ provides discreet information and advice on sexual health. There are also free condoms, chlamydia testing kits (for those aged 15 - 24) and pregnancy tests available.
Health MOTs: the checks can to assess your risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease and stroke. Trained staff at You+ will discuss how to support you to reduce your risk and to be able to take small steps to maintain or improve your health.
Health Trainers: the Health Trainers are always on-hand to offer one-to-one support, motivation, and personalised information to anyone who wants to make a healthy lifestyle change.
Advice for older people and carers: working with Age Concern and Solihull Carers' Centre, You+ supports older people and those who care for someone to lead a happy, fulfilling life.
Come and visit Age Concern on Monday to Thursday: 10am - 1pm and The Carers' Centre, Monday - Friday: 10am - 3pm.
Healthy minds: stress, anxiety and depression can cause ill health and affect others around you. Our healthy minds clinic can help you to deal with what life throws at you.
Staff at You+ are not able to provide clinical advice. You should get in touch with your doctor if you have a health concern, injury or illness.
