Equality and Diversity
Birmingham and Solihull NHS Cluster are committed to providing employee’s and service users with equality of opportunity, and to valuing and respecting individual needs and differences. This report is a first, both in terms of responding to the new Equality Duties encompassed within the Equality Act 2010 and as a Cluster of Primary Care Trusts. We will be building upon the knowledge and understanding gained from compiling this report to set equality objectives based on the gaps and issues highlighted through our analysis of the data. We will consult with staff and the public to ensure that we have correctly identified the most urgent and pressing needs and that the objectives we set will address those issues.
